Kentucky
Trophy Whitetail Deer, Turkey and Fowl
Hunts

Whitetail
Deer
Kentucky routinely rates in the top three states in
the country for whitetail deer hunting. A private hardwood forest that
encompasses over 5,000 acres provides one the best deer hunting
experiences in the United States. The hunting preserve is located
in Hopkins County near Madisonville, KT. which is one of the top areas
in the state for native whitetail deer and wild turkey. The
country is interspersed with ridges and hollows, heavily forested with
hardwood and pine, and contains open fields which provide an ideal
natural habitat. Food plots are maintained throughout the year
for healthy game and big racks on bucks. Deer of the 140 class
and above are regularly harvested. One buck of eight points or
better and one doe are allowed per hunter. The number of deer
hunters on the property is limited according to the number and quality
of bucks available to ensure trophy sized standards.
Turkeys And More Turkeys
The hunting preserve also has one of the highest
concentrations of turkeys in the Southeast. Bachelor groups of 15
to 23 mature gobblers are regularly observed during the season.
Hen and juvenile groups frequently number 40 to 100. With a
turkey population of this size sportsmen have a unique opportunity to
harvest a trophy Tom.
Duck Hunting
The property for duck hunting is a
40 acre block of land with a large pond located off of the Ballard
County Refuge which is in the Mississippi Flyway. This unique
property has two heated duck blinds that can comfortably handle 4
people in each blind. Accommodations are two brand new
trailers. Each trailer can accommodate up to 4 people each.
Meals will also be cooked and provided on site.
The guides are competent and avid outdoors men, native to the
area. Your care, comfort, and enjoyment will be their main
concerns. Hunters that are experiencing the whitetail hunt will stay at
the Best Western in Morton’s Gap, KT. Meals will be taken
in the areas better restaurants.
